At Ewert Technologies, we are pleased to announce the release of PWMinder Desktop 3.4.0. PWMinder Desktop is a Password Manager for Windows, macOS and Linux, that is compatible with both iPWMinder and PWMinder Android. PWMinder Desktop 3.4.0 is a critical release and includes an update for Dropbox to allow PWMinder Desktop to continue to work with Dropbox after January 1, 2026 (see Knowledge Base article for more information). If you are using PWMinder Desktop 3.3.0 (or older), please update to version 3.4.0 as soon as possible! The latest version can be downloaded here.
PWMinder Desktop 3.4.0 contains the following updates:
- Updated to Java 17.0.17, released in October 2025
- Updated Dropbox SDK to maintain compatibility with Dropbox API servers, which will be updated with new
certificates. Previous versions of PWMinder Desktop may no longer work with Dropbox, after January 1, 2026 - Enhancements to FlatLaf for both Windows and macOS
- Other minor updates and fixes
