What is a Repository?
In PWMinder, a Repository is the central storage place where all of your password records are stored. You give the Repository a name and description, and secure it with a Master Password. Each password record in the Repository is grouped into a Category to make it easier to organize them. Using PWMinder Desktop you can create as many Categories and Records as you want.
Repositories are compatible between all of the products in the PWMinder family; so that a Repository created using PWMinder Desktop can be viewed and edited using iPWMinder, etc.
You can also have more than one Repository. You may want to have one for your home passwords, and one for your work passwords. You can also have one Repository for each person in your family.
Each Repository is stored as a file on your computer or smart phone and so, it can easily copied, moved, and backed up.
