Solution

There is currently an issue with Java 7 on Mac OS X 10.7.5, where the width of a Window can't be made wider than 1024 pixels. If PWMinder is using Java 7 on Mac OS X 10.7.5, and the screen is larger than 1024 pixels wide, it won't be able to be made more than 1024 pixels wide.

The work around is to use the Java 6 version of PWMinder.
