PWMinder Desktop is a Password Manager for Windows and macOS, that is compatible with both <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ewert-technologies.ca\/home\/products\/ipwminder-home.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">iPWMinder <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ewert-technologies.ca\/home\/products\/pwminder-android-home.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PWMinder Android<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Version 3.3.2 contains the following updates<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Updated Java to version 17.0.6<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#flatlaf_macos\">Improvements to FlatLaf on macOS using the new FlatLaf macOS Theme<\/a> (the new Theme uses macOS colours and looks more similar to native macOS controls)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#removed_vaqua\">Removed support for VAqua<\/a> (on macOS use FlatLaf instead)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#updated_flatlaf\">Other minor UI improvements to FlatLaf<\/a> (both Windows and macOS)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#flatlaf_auto\">FlatLaf Dark\/Light theme can now be set automatically<\/a>, based on the current Theme of the Operating System<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#jetbrains_mono\">Use JetBrains Mono for displaying passwords<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed Bug with update checker<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other minor updates and fixes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Updates to Look and Feels<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Most of the changes in version 3.3.2 focus on the Look and Feel options, which change the style and appearance of the application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"flatlaf_macos\">New Look and Feel for macOS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.formdev.com\/flatlaf\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">FlatLaf<\/a> released a new dark\/light theme for macOS, that attempts to give a more native look to apps, by using colours that match macOS and more native-looking controls. Prior to this version, VAqua was only working on macOS Intel and only in Light mode, and now with an <a href=\"#flatlaf_macos\">updated Look and Feel<\/a> from FlatLaf (that, in our opinion, looks better than VAqua), we have decided to no longer support VAqua. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"updated_flatlaf\">Updated FlatLaf<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to a new theme for macOS, FlatLaf made some minor tweaks for Windows as well. These tweaks include some changes to some of the standard icons, giving them a more modern\/rounded look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full has-custom-border is-style-default\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"266\" height=\"123\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.ewert-technologies.ca\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/flatlaf-alert.png?resize=266%2C123&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Alert Dialog\" class=\"has-border-color has-ast-global-color-3-border-color wp-image-1266\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Alert showing new FlatLaf icon<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"flatlaf_auto\">Automatically select FlatLaf Dark\/Light<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We have also added an option to the Look and Feel, to have PWMinder use FlatLaf Dark or Light, based on the theme currently used by the Operating System. For example, if the current Theme for the Operating System is Light, then PWMinder will use FlatLaf (Light). This Option can be set by going to Options\/Preferences and then in the Look and Feel Section, and selecting <em>FlatLaf (OS Default)<\/em>. Note: if the Theme of the Operating System changes, while PWMinder is open, the Look and Feel won&#8217;t automatically change; you will need to exit PWMinder and start it again.
