Windows Instructions

Installation

IMPORTANT: PWMinder must be installed by a user with Administrative privileges.

1. Make sure all System Requirements are met.
2. Download PWMinder_2.n.n_setup_win.exe.
3. Double-click the downloaded file to run the installation wizard.
4. Click Allow, if prompted whether or not to allow installer to run.
5. Follow the step in the installation wizard.

NOTE: PWMinder will be installed for All Users.

Running PWMinder

To run PWMinder execute the following steps:

1. Go to Start menu.
2. Go to PWMinder Program Group.
3. Click on PWMinder icon.

Mac OS X Instructions

Installation

1. Make sure all System Requirements are met.
2. Download PWMinder_2.n.n_setup_mac.zip
3. Extract the contents. This will extract PWMinder_2.n.n_setup.app.
4. Run PWMinder_2.n.n_setup.app (by double clicking it)
5. Follow the instructions in the installation wizard.

Running PWMinder

To run PWMinder execute the following steps:

1. Go to Applications in Finder.
2. Go to PWMinder group.
3. Double-Click on PWMinder.app.

Linux Instructions

Installation

1. Make sure all System Requirements are met.
2. Download the Linux installation file.
3. Extract the contents. This will extract PWMinder_2.n.n_setup.jar.
4. Run PWMinder_2.n.n_setup.jar (either from the command line: java -jar PWMinder_2.n.n_setup.jar, or by Right-Clicking and Opening with Java; Double-Clicking may also work if .jar files have been associated with java command, on your environment)
5. Follow the instructions in the installation wizard.

Running PWMinder

To run PWMinder execute the following steps:

1. Go to the Shorcut (Application) Menu.
2. Find PWMinder Group
3. Click on PWMinder icon.

Alternatively to run PWMinder from command line execute the following steps:

1. cd to the installation directory.
2. Type ./pwMinder.sh

Generic Instructions

Installation

1. Make sure all System Requirements are met.
2. Download the jar file: PWMinder_2.n.n_setup.jar.
3. Run PWMinder_2.n.n_setup.jar (either from the command line: java -jar PWMinder_2.n.n_setup.jar, or by Right-Clicking and Opening with Java; Double-Clicking may also work if .jar files have been associated with java command, on your environment)
4. Follow the instructions in the installation wizard.

Running PWMinder

To run PWMinder execute the following steps:

1. cd to the installation directory.
2. Type ./pwMinder.sh

USB Instructions (for advanced users)

Installation

1. Make sure all System Requirements are met, on the computer that you attach the USB memory stick to.
2. Download the zip file: PWMinder_2.n.n.zip.
3. Extract and copy the contents of PWMinder_2.n.n.zip to a location on your USB drive.

NOTE: settings and registration information, will be saved on the local computer, not the memory stick, and will need to be manually updated if used on a different computer.

Running PWMinder

To run PWMinder execute the following steps:

1. Open the location on the USB drive, where PWMinder was extracted to.
2. For Windows, double-click PWMinder.exe, for Mac OS/X double-click PWMinder.app
